Baby showers

Handmade quilts, blankets, diapers, wipes, washcloths, towels, hats, outfits, digital or ear thermometer, bubble bath, themometer for baby's bath, Comfortable cloths for mom!, and an a peice of paper with an "i o u" for an alotted amount of free babysitting after baby is old enough so mom can have some free time to herself or with her partner! no one gave me that one but looking back its something i would have enjoyed recieving!!!

i would like homemade blankets and maybe hats or a sweater, but i never did wear booties on my son when he was a baby. i think homemade gifts are much more personal then store bought gifts and alot of people tend to treasure them more. I still have a blanket that my stepsister made for my son as a baby shower gift and also a hooded sweater that zipped up the back that my mom's neighbor made for my son.

That's so sweet of you. I think any mom would be so happy to receive hand-made baby items from you. It has a personal touch. Receiving items made by friends or family mean so much as it was given time and effort by the giver and really thought about, instead of heading to the baby stores and just picking up anything you see.
