The Fair Tax

What do you think of the Fair Tax? I think its a GREAT idea for everybody. It gets rid of All income taxes (including FICA) and corpate taxes, And replaces it with RETAIL sale tax. It would also tax black marketers and drug dealers, and illegle aleins.It Is revenue neutral, so it will not be a burdin on the gov. Yes, NO, Discusse

I just got an email from my congressman about this saying how wonderful it is.
However, the details he gave me say that it completely eliminates ALL taxes from businesses - 100% of their purchases are EXEMPT - doesn't sound very FAIR to me. It sounds like another way for rich people to HIDE their money inside of a "business" and avoid paying taxes.

We need more people to read Neal Boortz's book "The Fair Tax Act" and join FairTax.org. More people need to take an interest in what's going on in this country and how we can change it for the better for all citizens. I have no use for apathy and those who will not try to help themselves by being informed. The bill is in the House and Senate for passage, but not enough backers to pass it yet. Get on the ball and join this group and contact your congressmen. Do something for a change instead of just whining or complaining folks. The main thing is to be informed.
