I do love Alpenmilchschokolade (by Milka, which I believe is an Austrian company), as it's very creamy and nutty in flavour. But when it comes to REAL chocolate, my favourite chocolatiers are UK companies: Thorntons make wonderful posh chocs, and Green & Black's do the most incredible organic high cocoa-solids dark chocolate. Did you know that eating chocolate was invented in the UK? Fry's (a british company)were the first to make a solid confectionary from the cocoa which was imported from South America, and up until that point had just been drunk (as it was in South America) as a beverage. So there you go! The country of origin of "chocolate" is the UK, and I believe we still make the best, most delectable chocolate!
