We all need money, our children also need money. When they still kids,we give what their needs not give them money. As they grown up, we give them money.Do you give them a specific amount of money for specific period? for specific period?
If you give them money, how much you considered as enough for them?
Some people just give their children as much as their children ask to them?
I found that is not a good lesson about money for our children.
What do you think about this?

I don't have a children but I have siblings where I gave financial support. I think it is better to give them the money if they really need it especially if it is a school requirement. I will just tell my sister that if she needs it then she should tell me in advance so that I will include it in my budget. But sometimes I gave her extra money to spend on anything.

I feel that if your kids are asking for money, it's fine to give it to them but they must get an allowance. They should be doing things around the house to earn allowance and get good grades in school. I have a 10 year old who gets allowance normally it's 10 dollar but when he misbehaves in school it goes down. My 13 year old is suppose to get $20 but he is not doing anything in school, so he has not been getting allowance.
