Do you mean gifts he got when he was with the ex? I see nothing wrong with that. After all, your mate's past experiences, including his time with his ex, has contributed to who he is today. Just because he is now with you doesn't mean he should have to pretend he had no life before you. So long as he doesn't dwell on the ex too much or seems really hung up on her, I wouldn't really worry about it. He's with you for a reason, after all. Of course, if he has been getting gifts from his ex since he has been with you, THAT could be a problem...
