Politics is such a dirty business in my country too. And I guess in other countries as well. There is little we can do as mere citizens if we just depend on the politicians to make life easier for us. Change should come from individual motivation. It's not the politicians who really decide for our destiny. We have a choice of our own.

First your country (Nigeria) would have to make laws and rules So they can take care of the politicians. And they may find a way to prevent them from taking control of stuff and like this (hops ,you get my idea) :)
