Life long friends?

I think that it's nice that you still have contact with one old friend! ^_^ I had two really, really close friends in childhood and it's not that we have totally lost contact with each other, but one lives a bit further away now and only calls me maybe a few times per year, but I can understand that as she doesn't live in the same area code and doesn't have a lot of money to spend on long distance calls. The other one, the friend that I was even closer to, it really hurts me sometimes because she never contacts me and we maybe run into each other once a year, and now that she is married I know that it will only get worse. Sometimes I really do miss her a lot.
