Things that get's more for you posts.

I know that Mylot will never disclose to us the exact things that they pay more for. But I do agree that if you get long on-topic replies to your posts that it helps. It seemed to me, too, like I earned significantly more the few days that I had a large amount of replies to the few topics that I posted. I have been going through and rating and giving best responses on my topics lately, trying to catch up on what I hadn't done. I still am not sure if that earns me more, as you were saying, but I know that it helps other people to earn, and I enjoy helping out. I would love it if you are right and it really does also help us personally to earn more when we rate things! ^_^ I know what won't earn you more.. little one word or one sentence answers. Copying someone else's answer. That's really a no-no. *laugh* Umm.. posting gibberish in a discussion. Those are some good ways to earn less. And get in big trouble! LOL ^_^

I have found if you respond to at least 50 discussion with good repsonses you will make over $2.00. Starting new discussions with a lot of responses pays the best. Photos only pay 1 penny if it is one they like.

You didn't missed anything. I feel that most who posted the discussions forgot to rate the response thus losing valuable $$$.

I agree with you. I think that all of the above are important and I have seen a whole lot improvement in my earnign since I started doing all this. In the beginning I was earning close to nothing- but I also didn´t have the hang of it =)

I'm still not sure about it, I mainly post responses now and do rate responses i receive to my old discussions, in the coming days i may start a few new discussions and see if this will increase my earnings or not, many members think that starting discussions is not important, I'm not sure about that I just was discouraged with little responses to my discussions. posting on topic good responses seems to be best earner, also referrals will help although I had 2 active referrals and now down to one, I think if I can get more it will be much better. posting photos with discussions or responses pays very little about 1c a pic.

These are some Great tips, and depending on my mood and the time I have to spend in here answering posts I know the larger the response back to someone the better. And I am still not sure about Rating others whether that really helps us out or not. I have always really wondered about that though. Bad things that do not work, are copying others answers or posts for your own, using one word answers. Spamming everyone with your links, and posting a Response or a Joke to someones discussion they started that does not fit the topic started. As for other things, no one really knows for sure, but if you have a Couple of referals that are working it, you also can improve the amount you will make each day as well.

Well, I learnt a thing or two here. I didn't even know we could rate the discussion we are replying to. I'll have to look into that. Also didn't know that pictures paid relatively little. Doesn't matter though I'm dying to put a few up which is why I'm racing to the big 500.

Thanks for the tips. So far I haven;t been "rating" the topics I've responded to at all - only replies to ones that I have started. Perhaps I should try and go back through to some I have replied to and see if it boosts my earnings.

I don't think much of the rating is related to your earning. Its just a way to know who is responding well, but it doesn't seem to make impact over the earnings. The length undoubtedly works and so are the responses you are able to garner to your comments and discussions. Lastly quality is all that is icing on the cake for this discussion based website, both in earnings and also in terms of making it useful. Otherwise there would just be garbage around. Posting to the same discussion group keeps on adding value to the group and thus you can get the same topic getting built up into a nice discussion forum for other to get benefit from. Your thoughts also don't move around and you can concentrate more on the task at hand.

thanks. most of the points stated here i have eventually now figured out. but i'll thank you on the behalf of all the others who will benifit from your thread. also i think, if you post spammy irrelevant one liners like ' yes that is true' to ' are inclined to favour blah or stand against it' probably get you a negative marking. but i might be wrong. maybe it just gets you really less money in general.

ya, when u put long and related discussion with other and they reply u that thing pay more i hope but some time we dont got any words about the subject and we not post any reply so we loss

Good hints, more folks would do better to follow your hints. We all can use good advice to make this a little better each day.

Thanks for the great advice. Putting pictures up in the interests section will also get you more. You mentioned picking a best response... it also helps you if you are picked as the best response of course. As far as I understand it things that are bad are Yes/No questions and surveys. If you happen to answer one that someone posted, when mylot deletes it, you may have your rating affected too. Good Luck and happy posting!

I guess we can't really say for certain will and will not give us more earnings. But what is important is to stick to mylot guidelines and make sure you don't break these rules. It is also important I guess that we answer sincerely to posts to make sure that what we are saying is making sense and is relevant to the topic posted. I'm not sure about the pictures getting 1 cent per post coz i've been getting around 2cents for them. I'll try your advice though and see if I can earn more. In any case,money is just second,what is important is that we are enjoying what we are doing here and that we are able to interact with people all around the world and help them with our answers.

i like to post things that interest myself, and hopefully find others whom also are interested in my topic, then ill let it all go from there! love it!
