Skill has meaning when knowledge is there.

Knowledge won't work without skill!

Knowledge and skills are complimentary and they work together. After acquiring knowledge, one should implement it for eg. teacher - who will go on teach children and over a period of time, he will acquire skill. He becomes skillful teacher, knowing how to handle students, how to teach them etc.

In my view knowledge and skill are actually both sides of a coin.one without other is of no worth.
