My sister was dating a bartender and I'd just moved in with her. She asked me to go with her so I could meet him. When this tall, good looking guy walked in, I asked her if she knew who he was. To make a long story short, we've been together since that night 30 years ago and married for 28 years now. He was a brave man to take on a divorced woman with 2 teenagers. We have 5 grandchildren now who love him as much as I do. I found one in a million after being divorced for 9 years and swearing to never get married again.

Met her in a small village in Mexico. I was there to checkup on family land, and register papers, so that the government knew it was looked after, and could not take it away from us. When one day while at the post office, I ran into a beautiful young woman. She invited me to a fiesta that night. Which I attended. She approached me and asked me if I remembered a girl who once gave me a flower at the plaza years ago. Of course I remembered. It was that girl, except she was alot taller, and more womanly now. We spend alot of time talking, and I extended my stay in Mexico for a little over a month. We wed and are very happy.

I was working at a restaurant on july 4th. This guy started talking to me, and we got on the subject of the fireworks. I told him that I wasn't going, and then he asked me to go with him. I thought he was a big nerd, but I would feel bad to say no, so I said yes. Then, when he came to pick me up from my house, I told him that I had a bad day and just wanted to go to bed. I broke his heart so badly! However, I ended up seeing him at walmart, after months of regretting not going with him, and I told him flat out...I want to go out with you! He was SHOCKED! But, within a week, we were saying "i love you" to each other. It was quite a story.

Would you still choose him if you had a choice? In other words, because he was chosen for you, you never had a chance to look around and decide for yourself. Do you think you are as happy as someone who makes the choice themselves?

I had been praying for a husband, and little did I know that I was going to meet him the way I did. I met him when I was going to his mother's home, because you see, he had just lost his sister. I went there to give my condolences, and he took one look at me and fell in love. Sorry to say I didn't feel the same way, I thought it was a friendship thing, after getting to know him, I fell in love with him. God truly sent him, we have been married almost 4 years, and he still feels the same. When I walk into a room it takes his breath away, he stops whatever it is he's doing, just to look at me ! I am truly a blessed woman, and I always tell him how much I appreciate him.

I was an appraiser in a collision repair shop and he was one of my customers. I guess you can say we met "by accident" literally. He had hit a barrier on the highway doing about 80 mph...did a lot of damage to his truck. We fixed his truck and we've been together ever since the day he picked his truck up...that was 5 years ago. Now we live happily ever after with my daughter and his 3 daughters....He is definately my best friend and soul mate forever.. Good luck to everyone else.

I met my fiancee through a mutual friend. We both knew him for about four years but we never met. He first told her about me just days before my National Guard unit shipped out to Iraq. He told her more about me while I was gone and she wanted to finally meet me. The day we came home the town had a big welcome home ceremony for us. He called her to ask if she would like to go with him to see me. She did, so I met my fiancee the day I got back home after a year in Iraq, I think she just liked the uniform. I asked her out 2 months later while watching a movie while sitting beside her on his couch. Also-- I didn't know that he had asked her out many times and got turned down and still thought he could get her to go out with him. That was April 14 of last year and he hasn't spoken to me since April 18 of last year, he has called her and tried to break us up though. Oh well, we plan to get married April 14 next year.

Well I originally met my husband on the school bus, he lived about 1 mile from me, so I met him when I was 12 and I moved to my town. He was almost 16, and didnt care nothing about me. He actually made fun of me because I was the geaky fat girl, and he was the cool varsity football player. I started high school the year he graduated and forgot all about him. Then 2 years later, I am sitting on my computer when I get an AIM, and it was him, he had no idea it was me, but it was. We have been together ever since. I got over my awkward stage, so he liked me. Its so funny because he was the last person I thought I would end up with. Now we have been together for 5 years, married for almost 2 and we have a 1 year old son. Life is funny sometimes.
