well, there are instances when i envy the rich ones. say when i want to have something and yet i cannot afford to buy it, i always say, how i wish i am rich. or when i see people without homes or street children, i also hope i am rich so that i can help them more.
but i don't envy the rich in a bad way. money isnt everything. it's not the basis of contentment. it can't buy everything and you can't bring it with you in heaven. envying the rich at times helps me to work harder to be able to become rich too and be more of a blessing to my family and to others.

No I don't envy them at all - being a child who was raised around lots of money and seeing the problems and frustrations it seemed to cause - just made me realize early on that I knew I never wanted to be rich as an adult - I knew that as long I was happy with myself, my life and my family - that's really all that matters!!!!

I agree money isn't. I think if I was rich, I would be bored. What would I need to achieve, making more money? I think character and appreciation is something the rich lack due to never having to strive for anything. That's just my two cents any way.
