Come to think of it, it was in 1995 that I first watched this movie, still in VHS format. From then on, it has been my favorite movie. It's my husband's favorite, too! Of course, I'm the one who recommended the movie to him:) Sometimes, it just happens that when we like something to watch to unwind and we cannot decide, suddenly we just look at each other and grin. We both know that we have unanimously chosen Sleepless in Seattle.

Actually, the movie was shown in 1993. However, I was just able to watch it two years later when my brother brought home a VHS copy of the movie. I bought a soundtract CD during the early 2000, and the VCD when I cannot watch the VHS tape anymore:) I finally bought the movie's DVD just last year, 2006.

It's a good movie and the acting and story are great for a little escape from day to day negative news. I'm usually a action and sicience fiction movie buff but this was one of those movies that you quickly get caught up in the story with a touch of humor and reality that is beleiveable.

I love Sleepless in Seattle, and I also felt that Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan really spiced up the screen well when they were on together; The songs are real sweet; the plot will keep you humble and feeling for the father and son; I could go on, but you get the drift.

It's a great story and simple plot and acting was done well. The sound track and songs set up you up for the mood of the film and lets your mind feel the wishful dreams that memories bring.

It wasn't bad the first time, but it's definitely too much chick flick for me to watch again unless I'm with my fiance. I would say it's worth at least one watch for everyone though guy or girl.

i liked it but found it sad. i wished that they had gotten together sooner. i did think it was interesting how the son called into the radio show and pulled his father into it. i did have a good ending.
