Dealing w/ the lost of your mother?

My husband's mother just passed away yesterday. All though he seems to be coping right now I know it's going to be hard. Alot of it is just waiting to know what to do next. Luckily his Uncle is where she lives and is helping to take care of a lot of the stuff but him, his sister, as well as my self are sort of lost. Not knowing what to do. She lives 10 hours away and they have shut down all air traffic, and other ways to and from the town because of the ice. She donated her body to science so there will be nothing left for them bury or keep. Which in away is good because my husband said he couldn't stand to see his mom dead!!
