How many yrs will it take for R rated movies to make it to the Indian theatres?

There are so many movies out there rated R in the US like Scary Movie, Euro Trip, Road Trip, Girl Next Door, and the famous American Pie. Why is it that these movies dont make it to the theatres in India. Does this mean that if at all these movies are released in the theaters here people would hesitate to go watch these movies or is it just that the ones involved in granting rights to movies are so narrow minded? What do you think about this??
