I agree sissygrl. Why not keep the whole process in our country? Yeah, they would have to pay them more, but in the long run, our unemployment rate would drastically drop! Give it up for Canada! And the US of course, but only after you vote Bush out..lol.

The old saying works there! 'necessity is the mother of Invention'. So many people so little work.what they would do . It is not only cheap labor that makes China the global supplier of pin to plate( I do not want to say Plane) but the cheap material also. many of their articles are use and throw . some times use for a while and throw also. But that was the way Japan produced their products once , i heard my grandpa saying. there was a usage 'Japan made' in British colonies.now you see where they are? similarly Korea .So I do hope China would follow them and be a big hit.
As for Canada following the China way! Well I don't know whether still you feel the necessity??!!

Well, maybe the industrial in Canada is mainly in domestic, or Canadian economy mainly depends on the service sector instead of manufacturing sectors. Countries like China mainly focus on manufacturing, so, it is more likely to find products made in China than other countries.

China has cheap labors and pools of workers and they are willing to work at positions like you and me will not think of taking it up. Many investors of big brands shift to China due to this reason. A price that they cannot imagine that China would do for them. They are throwing price if they have the quantity. Anyway, China not only have their own workers, they have natural resources and plenty of land and expertise. The only thing that they are lacking of is the consideration to ensure that quality products are produced instead of 100% profit.
