Increasing MyLot earnings

I suspect that many myLot members are wondering how to have fun here and increase their earnings at the same time. myLot states that there are a few ways to earn and I have some questions for some of the more experienced folks: "1) Use myLot, post discussions, respond to discussions. 2) Post quality content. For example, generate discussions that engage other users and provide insightful responses and commentes to other users discussions to further the topic. 3. Refer friends. For each person you send to myLot you will receive 25% of their earnings." From what I have been able to determine there are several actions that constitute using myLot and likely are included in their algorithm: 1) Generate discussions. The quality of the discussion is an issue so myLot likely considers: a) number of responses; and b) rating of responses. 2) Respond/Comment in discussions. There are many comments addressing the length or complexity of a response as bearing on the judgment of its quality. I doubt that a live person reads each comment so the quality of the comment must be judged by its rating and perhaps unique word count? 3) Upload relevant pictures/images in comments and discussions. Again, is each one given equal value or is there a formula to the weighting? 4) Income from referrals. 5) Is it possible that number of friends has an impact on earnings? myLot's revenue model is currently focused on ad revenue and the more page views the better. As such, figuring out ways for us all to maximize our income via increased activity only increases myLot's revenue. In that light, and hoping that someone will respond to this with some additional insights, I am suggesting the following: 1) Rate every comment you read. It's quick and easy and might just result in increased income for someone. 2) Link with lots of friends, especially people who have a history of making quality comments, rating comments, uploading photos, etc. Frequent the "discussions my friends started" page and support each other in creating dynamic, content-rich discussions. 3) Find a positive spin for your comments. Negative comments can spread a bad vibe like the plague and rarely contributes much to the discussion. I'd appreciate comments about the earnings algorithm and any other ways that income can be maximized. Thanks!
