how does spamers get email id

There are some 2nd class and third grade sites which offers free membership to people. Once you beco memmber, you email i.d. is with them. They sell for money, all the email i.d.s

Spamming is nothing but gettin unsolicited information either to your email id or by any other sources. The spammers have special softwares to find email id's on various sites, where you would have posted for various reasons. They run it every now and then to capture email id's everytime. And in some sites where you need to give your email id to sign up for some news letters or to get some offers, they might sell your email id to spammers for good rates, so be very careful in giving out email id's to sites, give your email id to only good sites, don't give it to any site which you feel is not good. And also keep at least 2 email id, one your personal, and other your secondary email id, if you want to sign up for any news letters etc, give only your secondary email id, don't ever use your personal email id for this purpose. right u r.for different reasons we post in forums and manytimes we drop our email ids. Suppose, Oneday i saw a post in a forum where someone asked to drop email id so that he can send some java ebooks.Many people dropped their emails. But spammers do search on such sites and runs a software which collects all ids from such posts in the forum/site. But such software actually search for '@' symbol. So if u drop ur email id in any post of the forum/site in the manner xy@yahoo.com the spammer's software will get ur id. So better to be tricky.Drop the email id in the manner " xy at yahoo.com" instead of writing @ symbol, AT should be written to avoid id detection by any spammer's software.
