The queen of tact. (person 2)

I've had 2 co-workers ask me within as many weeks why i won't talk to them.
person 2:
is just weird. this guy talks to himself AROUND OTHER PEOPLE, he has crazy hair, and is all kinds of cock-eyed. i am an eye-contact communicator. talking to him is like staring at the sun. i just can't! i just can't do it. he walked up to me while i was warming my delicious lunch of white castle burgers (from your grocer's freezer) and he's like, "why don't you talk to me?"
telling him the exact reason why would require a portion of-- no, no-- ALL of my tact. which is not a lot. so instead, i just told him that i'm just not a friendly person and not to take it personally.
that could be true, from what i've heard. i can be quite frigid. hopefully that was enough to get my point across.
while i'm on the topic: when i hear 'good morning!' it sounds a lot more like 'hey, you could so still be sleeping right now instead of being trapped in this s*ithole.' that's why my response is usually 'MMRMRMRMMMMMM...." because if i'm awake early enough for it to still be considered morning, it's because there's something that i HAVE to do, rather than something i ELECT to do. the only good morning is the one i spend IN BED. ;)

If your only good morning is what you spend in bed, you are sure to find all other good mornings bad.. wait.. let me not get preachy..but the fact is people become what you want them to be... you see angels or demons - its totally your choice-- i am sure you can find some way of looking at the lighter side of your colleagues-- my best wishes for you to do so!
