Interesting question. I think Superman would probably win. Samson, although he was insanely strong, didn't have all of Superman's powers. He didn't have heat vision, the ability to fly, or super speed. Superman could beat him simply by virute of his amazing speed. Samson would definitely put up a good fight, in fact, they say he wrestled lions and torn down entire building. I would have to claim superman the victor by virute of his unbeatable speed and powers.

But let me throw this out for consideration; Samson, according to Talmudic legend, could lift even more than Superman.
He could lift two large mountains as easily as a child could clods of clay. And he was fast! He could move fast enough to dodge the swords, axes, and arrows of an army of 1,000 men and easily kill them without being injured.
And Samson could jump for miles and miles--as high as Superman could fly.
Since God was on his side, I think the arguments favor Samson. You could say Samson was the Old Testament Superman!
