the world today is really facing a lot of problems and i think the greatest problem would be the poverty issue. Where ever you go all over the world whether be it in Africa, america, europe or asia, you can really see a lot of people who are poor. a lot who are homeless, jobless and it seems that there is no hope for everyone. there are lot of things that can be done in order to address this problem like having a good government and people who are willing to reach out to these poor people. i know that poverty has been a constant problem, one thing that can solve this is to give this people decent jobs so that they can live a decent life.

For me poverty is one of the major or worst problem that the world is facing today. I know, not all countries are struggling. Infact, western countries are indeed very very rich countries. But being raise in a country that belongs to the third world, I notice how people struggled from poverty.

I think population is a major problem, this leads to famine & poverty.
There's plenty of money in the world, but instead of using it to help everyone, to feed & house them everywhere in the world, we have created a " have's & have not's" society. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer.
Here in the UK the poor are taxed so much that they struggle really badly, while the rich own 2,3 homes & have millions in the bank.
Now I don't have a problem with people earning millions, but it just feels wrong to me for this money to be sitting there going to waste while somewhere else in the country people are homeless & starving.
Also, our wise leaders are spending so much of our money funding their wars, which are often based on lies & deceit. Al that money on Iraq only to find no WMD's.
