How do you remove spilled beauty wax from bathroom counters?

I usually wax my eyebrows at home, but over time I have spilled a little bit of the wax on the sink counter in the bathroom. There are lots of little dots and specks of hot wax remains on the counter. What is the best way to remove them? I have tried picking them off with my nails, but that doesn't work so well and is very time consuming. any suggestions?

Take a couple layers of paper towels and lay them on the wax spots. Then take a warm iron and gently iron over the towels. The wax should melt enough to stick to the towels, removing it from the counters when you peel the towels off. Just make sure to remove the towels while they are still warm.

Humm.. thanks. I thought about that because I know that is how to remove wax from other surfaces. I just wasn't sure if I could do that on the counters as well. Are you sure it is safe for bathroom counters?

I think we should use cleaning solvent

they have a wax cleaner at the beauty supply stores-probly close to the wax you buy. it cleans everything without wrecking your counters.
