end of the world as we know it

does anybody feel we are on the brink of the end of the world?
i have some friends that are into this group in ireland headed by two guys that claim to be the two prophets moesh and elisha and that by their being here,we will see the end of the world as we know it,may i say that i am not deeply religious but i am interested in other peoples views...

No we are not. That is rediculous. I hate when people go off and tell me the world is coming to an end, and its not not for many and many of years. How can you even say such a thing. What is coming is a depresshant. and we will see what our grandparents went through. Then maybe you wont be talking about the end of the world anymore. Wise up.

I don't think the author of this discussion is making that claim, but knows of freinds who are listening to someone who is.

im not saying the world is ending,i was just passing on info that i was told..i said in my post that i was'nt religious..believe me i dont want the world to end but these people are telling me that this is gonna happen..just thought i'd get some more input on it thats all..

Every year since man could think of it, someone has proclaimed the end is at hand. I don't think much of it at all. No one will know when the end will come. They are looking for attention and power by scare tactics.
