Do you feel uncomfortable with a desktop? Comfy with a laptop?

Somehow in recent years, I have started to feel uncomfortable around big desktops. Perhaps it could be because they aren't portable, too heavy, clunky, they strain your eyes, anything. But on the other hand, I feel comfortable with a laptop because you can take it anywhere with you, you can hook up as many peripherals like a monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. and make it a miniature desktop with the laptop as a base. Laptops and mobile, portable computers are the one type of such technology I love because you can take them with you on the go when you're traveling! Do you feel comfortable with laptops more than desktops? If so, please explain why.
