If you have been watching Top Chef this season you know you can vote for your favorite chef and he/she will win $10,000. So, who is your favorite chef this season and why?
My favorite chef was/is Frankie the Bull. He just happened to have a bad day. I don't think he should have gone home the week he did. He would still be on it I think if it weren't for the bonfires. I imagine his sauces have to be wonderful being Italian and all. I like the fact he has the balls to say what he thinks.

I was really angry at Mia for leaving after all that talk about her being the only one in her family to make something of herself she jumps ship under the pretens of saving the other girl.Crap, she was feeling intimidated and would rather leave a hero in her eyes than just be voted off.She really made me angry when she did that,it wasn't even necessary.

Yeah, but, I think her point was that she already did make something of herself. Or, at least she feels that since she has her own business, she will be okay. She wanted to see Ilya (or however you spell it) get a chance to make it for herself to, rather than just always work for someone else. She believed in her and saw that she had talent. I think it was honorable, even though it was frustrating. I'll bet she got a lot of publicity out of it (just being on the show) and will do very well in her business as a result. She may even win the $10,000.

I have been watching Top Chef since the very beginning. I loved Sam. But oh well. I hope Marcel beats Elan in the final challenge. Elan is a crybaby. But them most of them were.

I really liked Mia and Mikey, who both already got voted off. Well Mia left on her own to save that other girl, which I think was stupid on her part. I haven't seen the show in a while, are Sam and Ilan still on it? I really like both of them.
I really disliked Betty and Marcel. Marcel was such a cocky jerk, and Betty was kind of dumb and not a very good chef...

As far as liking a person (or the character they seemed to represent, even though it is reality TV), I liked Mia. I don't know if she was the best chef. I think Sam might be. But I really liked that Mia "sacrificed" herself to see someone else advance, someone who she believed in and who she was afraid might get the ax otherwise. A "chef" isn't just a good cook. A chef has to have so many other leadership qualities. One thing I've noticed about Sam is that a number of times when another contestant was ready to give up on their dish or give up entirely, he was very quick on his feet to both think of an idea to salvage their dish or take it another direction, and very quick to encourage them to just keep on keepin' on. That's a good quality in a chef or anyone. He runs a kitchen and he knows that "the show must go on" when you have a restaurant full of hungry customers. There's no time for temper tantrums or meltdowns.
