Hey there! I swear I had just posted number 28 of my career on myLot and I went to go comment on a new topic and I went down to 27. Has this happened to anybody else?

Yes, I happened to me one of these days, I lost about 30 posts... MyLot periodically cleans up messages that don't have much interest.
