Do you ever start talking to your significant other about something important to you, and he/she justs zones out and just does not hear a thing you say?

Can it be that the keyword here is "something important TO YOU"? =) In my own experience, sometimes the cases were because men and women are wired differently. We just need to keep persisting in understanding each other's way of communicating, especially in marriage.

Wow! I had not thought of that. Old LB (lazy bum),my husband could actually have interests of his own, outside of mine. Seems, obvious now that you mention it, but really, that guy is usually so devoted to me, I totally forgot about what might be important to him. Thanks, for pointing this out to me.

Glad to hear you found the right guy. It does make a big difference in your life. My man listens to me no matter what, too. He knows he better.

He happens, at times, but I know that he does not do it for wickedness, I have understood that the man has a single neuron, cannot follow two things in the same moment. I am woman, succeed there

I guess I've never had it where they zone out so much as you can tell that they just don't care. What I really hate is when you tell them something that means a lot to you and you talk for quite a while on it, and after you finish they say something completely irrelevant to what you were just talking about. For example, "Hey is it ok if we don't go to Walmart late?" Or something like that..it just makes you feel like crap!

Certainly, I've been there and done that. When it happens, old LB(lazy bum) finds out I'm not happy real fast. When I'm not happy, he's not happy. Guess, I'm lucky he still loves me!
