What was your worst fear as a child?.......and now?

I was afraid of spiders. I used to lay on the grass near bushes with spider webs and watch then "catch" and wrap up moths. I'd lay there for hours waiting and watching. I was fascinated and petrified! The strangest thing I was afraid of when I was a young child, was mountains! I believed that mountains were sleeping dragons. I used to throw a fit crying that we'd wake up the dragons if we drove through a mountainous area.

hmmmmmmm i dont exactly remember, but yes drowning was one of my feas but not now as i know to swim

My worst fear was and it still is the fear of loneliness!I don't know what I would do if I be lonely on this world,because I can stand the feeling!

I was scared of big trucks when I was young and dark places as well...when I grew up I am more scared of heights.

When I was younger, my sister and I use to go fishing trout quite often. We had a little plastic crate we used to put our fish in. One day, my cousin came over and we all decided we'd go fishing, so I guess cause I was the youngest, they decided I should go get the rods, and equipment. Well as it turned out, we hadn't cleaned out the plastic crate we used for fishing the previous time we'd used it. Needless to say, it was covered in maggots. Again, I assume cause I was the youngest, they made ME clean it. To this day, I am terrified of maggots. Yes it's a silly fear and I realize that cause it's not as though there is anything they can do to me, irregardless, I am terrified of those tiny, white crawly things.

back then i always afraid of being alone,usually when i went to kitchen and it's a little dark and everybody else in in the living room..i always have these scary images that a ghost is staring at me through the window..creepy! now..cockroaches,heigh.

as a child my worst fear was heights now i am afraid of dyin alone.
