baptismal, necessary?

it's a great feeling for both parents when their child has been welcomed to the christian world. do u think a child should be baptized at an early age... some re;igion i respect their culture of baptizing a child in their later age. what are your views? is it necessary? my friends from other religion, i just want to ask what is ur culture and belief..please share with me i just want to know...

In the catholic religion we baptise our babies as soon as possible because all babies are born with original sin. Baptising a baby washes them of this sin.

i do too to my children. i think it's necessary but it will depend on ur religion...if ur a catholic, then baptismal at an early age is really the tradition...
