Windows or Linux? - Which has higher optimized performance for internet?

I am thinking which is best OS if optimizing internet surfing performance - is it Windows or Linux?

I agree with this idea. So start installing Linux, read Linux books and learn from your Linux CBTs.

I'll go for windows, it's very useful to me. I like linux but with internet I have hard time using it.

It is obviously linux. If u using dial up connection or any slow speed connection then U can judge your self. If u connect it into window and after that connection it againg connect into linux then U realize whats the difference between them.

I'm not familiar with linux therefore I'm going to have to say windows. Honestly i'm a big computer geek and cant say i've ever used a linux system :(

I guess it all depends on what you have been using OS that makes you comfortable using, but if you know both I guess Linux has many advantages.

Wel i think linux is secure more than windows, windows is not secure, i also use windows but i like linux also because linux is very secure operating system, thanks friend

If you are comfortable installing Linux programs from source, then Linux, otherwise Windows. Both the worlds have their own advantages and shortcomings
