What was cool when you graduated school?

When I graduated from high school the cool movie was a toss up between National Lampoons Vacation, Flashdance and Monty Python's The Meaning of Life. The cool songs were Billie Jean by Michael Jackson ad Rock of Ages by Def Leppard. Jams were just starting to be cool too. So what was cool when you graduated high school?

I remeber those movies as well but I don't remeber if they were from the year that I graduated.
I do recall Boney M and Meatloaf being popular. The Starwars movies were out. And I had more than 1 pair of leg warmers so I know I saw Flashdance.
Kermit the Frog's...It Ain't Easy Being Green was also on the radio

Rave & Old Skool Hardcore, Techno, Pirate Radio etc was 'cool' when I graduated from school back in 1992 - I still love it now! Not sure what films were around then (I was too busy getting drunk & being a nuisance to society) but I love Nat Lampoons Vacation (or any film with Chevy Chase for that matter)
