I just thought of this discussion topic after viewing this cute page about a Ferret calendar that features pictures of ferrets singing, surfing, snowboarding, drinking, and more.
I do believe that a friend once gave me a wolf-themed calendar. That was one of my favorites. I also remember buying a Beatles calendar when I was younger. (I wasn't around when the Beatles were together, lol! I just loved oldies when I was a kid ^_^ )
What was the most interesting/unusual/fun subject of a yearly calendar that you ever bought or have heard of?

Well, I have never really bought a calendar...but I have been given one by my little sister.
She gave me those ones that you get from school, and of couse I had to put it up!
A bunch of little kids grew pictures about healthy food VS. bad food! Its cute...but of course it corny! :D

Dude...that is so wrong just to copy her first line.
Granted, it is not copy and paste.
But why would you comment to her the same thing she started her response with?

When I was a teenager my friend bought me a "butt" calendar. I have a thing for nice tight booties on men, but they have to be like skater booties, not flat!!! LOL As a sort of joke cuz I was a butt girl she bought me a calendar of men's butts. Let me just say, my birthday month was quite nice!!!!!!!!! LOL

My calendar 2007 is from PAPELMELROTI, a company that produces recycled products-made items. Its made of recycled paper with excellent artworks by Robert Alejandro, one of the Philippines' finest graphic artists.

I'm boring. I always get a calendar with cats and kittens. One for in the kitchen and one for the computer room. I really should try something new sometime! I saw the one for Desperate Housewives a few years ago and thought about getting it, but the cats won out again!

Each year my boyfriends Aunt sends us a calendar from Australia with really fantastic views. Its just so great to look at and she puts little notes inside telling us all about the different places and if she or my boyfriends cousins have been there she encloses photos.
My boyfriends usually in tears of happiness looking through this, he feels it somehow keeps his family closer together.
We now do the same thing, sending them a calendar of views of Norfolk where we live.

Well the most interesting calendar i have ever received (not bought) would be the one i got from a Pat's Pizzeria down in New Jersey when i visited my cousins. It was filled with all the waitresses in their bathing suits, i found it quite pleasing somehow.

The most interesting calendar I have ever seen was an old-style calendar. The name of the months were like 100-200 years ago in the speech of village people. I am not sure if the name-days are only in my country (each day of the year somebody celebrates her name day. mine is 15th September) So in this calendar the names were old fasioned very interesting names, that we do not use alredy. It was really special.

Mine would have to be the one that was given to me one year by a friend. It was Anne Geddes babies. Oh my gosh, the babies are so, so precious. And the unique and colorful ways that she photographs them is awesome. I couldn't bear to throw the pictures away. I actually framed one and have it in the bathroom!

Well, i don't if this is interesting, but my father bought a calendar some 10 years ago and on that calendar it told you ways and calculations on how to work out what date/day it will be next week/month/year and so on...
my father learnt quite a bit from it and is now able to calculate dates fairly accurately and i can do so aswell. ^_^
Also i heard on Top Gear that there was a calendar which had pictures of the "Greatest Roundabouts in Britain", lol
