I totally agree with you. Cancer scares me more because it is so sneaky and aggressive, has so many different types of cells, and can affect any part of the body and spread rapidly. You never truly know what cancer will do; if you think it's gone it is likely to reappear... AIDS, on the other hand, is fairly predictable. You take medications, have bloodwork done frequently to monitor your condition, and generally live your life for years. Neither one is a good thing to have, of course.

I think there are many deadly things to worry about but I dont think that we should think one is better than another

I think it was heart attact before, then came Tuberculosis. When they found medicines from these, it became cancer, and now we have lots. We have meninggococcemia, bird flu to name a few.

I guess I would have to agree with you on that Cancer and Aids both are very dreaded in the world but to me I think MS is a dreaded disease in my life because that is what my mother is struggling with right now and has been for about 15 to 20 years now I can't remember exactlly.

I personally think they are both dreadul. Cancer can get you no matter what you do. However certain kinds of cancer can be driven out and killed. Aids can be avoided but only if you have knowleadge and can protect yourself. Once you have aids there is no cure. I would hate to have either one of them. I know people with both and I would like to see both diseases stopped.

I would recommend you read up on Alzheimer's disease, as it is the fastest growing disease in the world, and not even a hint of a cure in sight, There is nothing you can do to prevent,or slow the progress, of this awful disease, and yet the Government in the USA, cut back its funding again, This is going to be bigger than cancer and HIV/AIDS combined, because it is already destroying thousands of lives. and do not make the mistake of thinking it will be cured when I get old. It has been around for 100 years, or at least the name has been, soon it will be that there is not one family that will not be affected by Alzheimer's, and it could be you next. take care.

Some people can get treated and kill the cancer, not with AIDS. I would consider AIDS worse.
