Have U Ever Been To A Restaurant ALONE??

i sat here thinking about this question. and i realized that in my 32 years, i dont think i have ever eaten at a restaurant alone! ill go to the drive thru, but never inside to sit down and eat, much less an actual restaurant. i would feel like everyone was watching me..and wondering if i got stood up or something.

I have never gone to any restaurant alone. I either go with family or friends. I think the reason for this is I go to restaurant not just to have food, but enjoy with family or friends. I can't even imagine of sitting in a restaurant alone until it was really neccessary.

Just some time ago I did respond to discussion about being alone in a restaurant, What's wrong with that, I would go to restaurant alone if I get hungry, so what if it is a fine dine restaurant, I go there to dine.

yes, especially if there is a time that after my class and i am very hungry.

I will often go to a restaurant alone. For the majority of my "dining" time, I have company, be it family, friend or lover. But, sometimes, one simply cannot replace the peace of dining alone. Whether it's in a quiet cafe, enjoying the slow pace and the taste and textures of the food, or it's in a fast paced restaurant, reveling in the sights and smells and conversations of the other diners and staff around. Sometimes, depending on your serving staff, it might feel a little weird, but personally I find that most are very kind... and often will stop to chat! Go to a small restaurant next time and just take the "alone" time to observe the activities of those around you! You'll be amazed at how much you'll enjoy yourself. (If you think you'll be bored, bring a book or your local newspaper. It's a good conversation starter!)

Yes I have been to a restaurant alone before, It does feel ackwards I have to admit. This is why you see people mostly who go to a restaurant alone do so during breakfast simply because they can take the news paper with them and read while eating or before eating or after eating. I'm not sure why it feels ackwards I guess because you have no one to converse with.

yeah i've been to a restaurant not more than once alone and eat there too they all thought i am waiting for someone but when i started ordering and eating they don't really mind

I always have my lunch and dinner in a restaurant thats why I go there alone most of the time. It is true that most of the people there have their companions either their family of freinds.

i eat alone most of the time. me and my friends have very different work schedules so ive learned to enjoy by myself. i guess it can be sad at times but mostly i prefer it that way because it gives me the freedom to eat as fast or as slow as i want. when im with someone i either need to eat faster so he wont have to wait for me or eat slower so he wont feel the need to rush

i dont like going to eat alone i always go with a friend or tell a firend to buy for me while coming. i am not always fre going alone. and it is not in my habit to do that

ofcourse. i work and often times i eat late and ending up no one can go wiht me for lunch, merienda nor dinner. its never bad for me. im used to it.

Yes have gone alone. It really isn't a biggie. Usually was there at lunch and then back to work I had to go. It doesn't bug me but if I had a choice I would rather be sitting with someone.

Most of the time I go out alone. When I want to go out I go out.

Oh yes, I have been to restaurants alone many times because I love to enjoy a good book with good food. But the more important thing is that the restaurant seating arrangement allows me the privacy to do that. So I usually will end up in a corner or a booth. I used to go to one particular restaurant for years because it allowed me to do just that.

I feel to go to resturant to eat the delicious foods many times...bt most of the times my friends are busy to come to resturant..one day some how i went alone to eat something there...bt after i sat for 2 mins ,everyone started staring at me as i was alone..so i just came back and decided never to go to a resturant alone.
