Birth Control

I was a big fan of the depo shot because I never had a single period while I was on it. To me, that was wonderful. However, after I got off of it, I wasn't able to get a period until almost two years later and even then, it was very irregular. What other birth control methods do you recommend and why? Any horror stories?

I have never heard of depo shots how long were you on it for and did you have side affects while you were on it????
