Smoking v's Obesity

Along the similar lines of my smokers v's non-smokers debate I have anothe question.
What do you think is more of a health issue... smoking or obesity?

In regards to health issues I do believe that obesity is on the rise more just look at all of our children never mind the adults here in Australia that are too obese their are just too many it is really a disgrace that we have this amount and it will be a big burden on our health services in the future if nothing is done about this as being obese is causing other health problems.

Obesity, easily. Let me put it this way: if everyone in America smoked, the life expectancy for the average American would only go down 5-10 years at most. If everyone in America was obese, it would go down WAY further, by 20-30 years. Obesity is killing people very quickly in America.

probally obesity as there are more and more people becoming obeise then i think there are smokers i think people are starting to quit smoking and are realising what it does to you but people are to lazy to lose weight
