Designer babies - deliberately created to have defects

I dont have a rating to post the links yet, but its on the CNN web site. A dwarf couple wants to have a dwarf child with medical alteration. According to the news survey suggest things like this already happens in hospitals

dont you think getting doctors to 'modify' and design your child takes away the natural beauty in not knowing and hoping that he grownup to be a beautiful thing? some how, such attempts dont seem ethical to me. People today are more into physical beauty then wat actually makes their personality beatiful and desired

Exactly my point, i dont even find it close to ethical, and i m totally against such attempts, but for the sake of discussion i try to provide the news and not my personal opinion

ur right its not ethical its horrible. just because the parents are dwwarves doesnt mean they get to choose that their child will be either. i'm sure that theyre lives havent been all that easy so why would they want to do that to their child

waa, that's really strange.. I don't think that babies should be altered in any way, whether it be to be smarter, taller or whatever. it's unethical.
