speed in downloading files depends on a number of things. Your internet connection, the source of the download, and the Internet itself. Your internet connection, of course if it is slow.. nothing you can do about improving unless you change to a broadband service source of download. usually servers have their own limits as to how many people or computers can make a request and transfer data from it at any given time. If you are using morpheor/limewire/other peer to peer programs, usually the source is just a home computer like yours and their speed may be as slow/as fast as yours Internet: is you are based in Asia.. it is possibl that the earthquake in taiwan affected the internet speeds in this region. although it has improve alread by now, it is not yet up to its full network speed yet.
