If I could change my name...hmm I would have to go with something unique like "Myrna" which means beloved in Irish.

Cordale, great minds think alike!
This was another discussion of yours that I had planned to start, but you beat me to the punch again! Good for you : )
I have a lot of nicknames. My nephew used to call me Obi (like Obby) cuz he couldn't pronounce my name. My Dad calls me "Bird". My hubby calls me "Babe". My best friend calls me "BF". Some of my friends in school called me "Casper", like the friendly ghost, saying I was too nice, but that was my fave cuz I loved that cartoon character!
I'd probably choose something unique, funny, or just plain strange. I like a lot of names better than my given name.

I dont want to change my name. my name is Antonis and i like it very much. So why di i have to think about changing. I also think that everybody has to be happy with his name because if you have problems with your name you will soon find that you have problems with yourself.

My name is Jahnyiah. Its kinda hard when people ask especially if they are filling out info like for a new account cause then they ask - How do you spell?- But I like my name cuz its original and my mother gave it to me. I didn't name myself so its special.
When I participate in forums and communities i use the name Kipad Fingaz an alias i used when i use to chat on mobile chatroom. Then One of my friennds said that i walk like im jaywalking so I got the idea to call myself Jay Walken. I use that sometimes when I don't want to reveal my real name if it is not important.

I did change my name. First, when I was married. Then I later took my Grandmother's maiden name. It was Italian. Guillianni. I didn't know exactly how to spell it. I spelled it Juliano. The day it became legally permanent, I found her immigration papers. Those people at Ellis Island messed up quite a few names, as a matter of fact. I just kept the Americanized spelling. I don't know about changing a first name. They say that the ancestors actually choose your name and whisper it to your parents. It has great meaning and significance as to your purpose in life. So I guess I'll stick with the one I have.
