I cant get a 10 star

I wouldn't be too concerned about having a 9 ranking I think that's pretty good. I think the rankings are adjusted daily.

Yes these star ratings increase and decrease daily. My star rating has increased and decreased frequently

as of my experience the people who post discussions less than 5 lines and more than 2 lines often get 9 no. ranking and the people who always post discussions more than 6 lines they get the ranking 10. So try to increase te length of ur posts. Still, u and i have the same rankings ;)

It can be changed daily. I think it depends on how others rate you, and not just your effort alone. I go through and rate people for their efforts, even in other discussions. I do not know if it improves your score to do that or not. I go back to my discussions and choose best responses, and rate all (almost all) responses to me. I am so unsure how else to do things. I do occassionally respond to things, even if they mean no money to me. It could happen any day, you know. Someone posted yesterday and wondered why his dropped from a 3 to a 1 in a day. I told him to get more friends, and take care to be helpful in the community. He told me he did not care for the community, and I think that is why he is dropping, because he is articulate, and thoughtful. I guess I am telling you, "Make sure to take care of the community, and as it benefits everyone, it will benefit you." Nine is a really good star. :=]

But how much it's affects you earning per post?i mean the same numer or rows per post,i wonder if i get a higher rating will i earn more for my posts and my pictures.Because now i earn about 1 cent per post,and i have seen that someone has mave over 4 cents per post.And you rating increses if i get more "+" rating for posting in mylot ?

I think it is done daily because i can see mine increase from almost 4 to 9 now it is an a span of some 4 days.So sure it is done dailsy but the basis i think is really complicated

I am not sure. I have had the star rating of 9 from the start, and no matter how many questions I answer or anything, I stay the same.

I wonder is everyone rating the discussions. I always rate them. My rating was a 10 at first, then it dropped to 9 for a while. Now it's back up to 10 again. I don't know how it effects payment (if it does) as I haven't been watching. And I personally judge how good a poster is by their discussions, not by their star rating. I don't think it's quite levelled out yet because I see some really daft one liner discussions and they have quite a high rating. Just my opinion though.

i m also trying to reach 10 star rating but i m not able to do that. i don't know why but i think that it is given in the rules of mylot that rating depends on ur everyday performance and it increases according to the no. and quality of posts u have made in the recent past. so it is a measure of ur activeness in mylot. 10 being the highest and 0 or no star being the lowest. stars are awarded only when u reach above 100 . this is all what i know about the stars rating.

how to get a star.. beside that.. what mean star.. i don't understand

seriously you can tell me i started out as a seven star and now im down to a six star so i started posting like crazy and it still hasnt gone up im kinda mad

i am a new member here i havent given yet a stars. all i can say is work hard for it im sure you can get what you expected.

I havn't yet had my up or down. I've been trying to get my star rating to incresses as well but i can't seem to get it to go up. No matter how hard i've tried and i don't know when they update that.

It doesn’t mean that 8 stars means “good user” and 5 stars means “bad user” only indicate how active user are users with a user rating of less than 100 will not yet have myLot reputation myLot reputation is determined by the myLot community,not user increase your reputation is by contributing quality topics, responses and comments and avoid breaking mylot rules!

Puh-lease! I've been trying to get a 10 rating for what feels like YEARS! I voted to give you a couple of +'s, so you should be on at least a 90 tomorrow -- in the mean time, I'm gonna gloat about the fact that I have a better rating than you, while I still can! XP
