Ganguly scores 98, Dravid 50 today. Make dada Captain and win series

No ganguly should not be made as captain atleast till the world cup.Yeah he has come back with a bang but that doesnt mean that he has to be made the captain right away.And more over i dont think he himself is ready to become a captain.This would add futher burden on ganguly and he may not perform well.

Ofcourse dude, u r 100% correct. Dravid u know he is just a player but not a leader, ganguly is back with his great confidence for that he can perform well and take the team to the winning side. If possible ganguly should be named as an indian captain before the upcoming world cup. I love ganguly, i love kolkata, i love ganguly fans.

Yes man ganguly is a good player as well as good captain

I am happy to see ganguly back in form but I think he should be made captain after the world cup but I would surely like to see greg chappel out of the Indian teak for good.

No matter who is the captain every one has to play.its not a day score to be considered.an over all peformance.

Ganguly scored 98 runs as a come back which is vey healthy for the Indian cricket. If the batsmen perform well we have 80% chance of winning any game with any team. But for the time being Ganguly should not be the captain.Let him gain his total confidence and then he will be ready for captaincy.

are you an ardent fan of ganguly.... don't say no.....!!!!!!! it shows well on your words and the kind of excitement you have.... but it will only ruin the India's chance of winning the series and about the world cup... it's very hard to say....

I agree that ganguly always deserved the place in the team, and maybe the captaincy as well, but i also feel that the short stint which hw had outside the team was very necessary, he was geting complacent and also his fitness was taking a backstep, now his inclusion in the team will do lots of good things for the team, it will keep many players on their toes, especially dravid n laxman.The fact that he has found form straight away is also very heartening, on the whole things look good for indian cricket team ahead.As far as dada being given the captaincy back , i guess shud not be implemented, i.e rahul shud remain the captain, not coz he is better but this situation (dravid captain n dada in team) will cause dravid to improve his effort as captain n also dada will try his best to win back the skippy cap, so on the whole this will be good for india. wat u feel guys, plz give ur comments on this post,i wanna know wat other feel in this regard.

Over the past few years, the Indian captain always runs into a bad form the moment he is made captain. It started with Tendulkar, then Ganguly and now Dravid. So, seeing this trend, India should have a non-playing captain. Thats the only way that we can have all 11 players performing to their best potential Its wonderful to see Ganguly in his old form, so lets not bring him misery again by making him captain.

nopes i donot agree with u my dear friend. captain is not chosen on the basis tht whoever scores the best one day is made the captain and i guess ganguly till needs to put in hell lot of eforts to become a gud cricketer and rather being a captain apaincy will only add problems and he he wud be burdened with responsibilties.

I completely agree wid u dude... its high time dat dada is given back the much deserved captaincy.. he is a perfect captain who knws how to handle even the toughest of d situations an d main thing is he is a unconventional captain he is ready to take radical decisions at crucial points an which many a times turn out to b match winners so i sincerely think dada shud be given back his place as captain...

I don think Ganguly deserves to be a captain right now. Only can a captain be replaced if the existing captain doesn't perform well and there is an alternate player to replace him. I think dravid, at any point of time is quite consistent and he deserves to be the captain. Also we cannot decide with just one innings gone. He must prove to be consistent enough nad then lets think of a change in the captainship.

I dont think so, because after long time ganguly scored 98 its not any big win for him and for India.Dravid is in the form since he got captancy and also before, so i think dravid is the person who can handle captancy very well.

Cricket is a game of full uncertaintities so no one could say that what will gonna in the game.Ganguly has scored 98 but he can't make out his century.It doens't mean that he is back in form and by giving him again captaincy India will win their all games.So just wait fror other games and how would he will perfrom and then if you decide to make him captian is good or not.

Yes Ganguly has batted well. That does not mean that he should be made captain straight away. Let him perform and let the TEAM benefit from that. Dravid has been made captain and the announcement has been made that he will be the captain till World Cup. Why do we want to disturb that? Let us stop looking at individuals and start looking at the team as a whole. Dravid has not performed that badly that he be thrown out. He too batted well yesterday to keep the momentum going. So too Dhoni and gambhir. Cricket is a team game and let it remain that way. Let us not glorify individuals and spoil the team spirit.

I only think that if the selecters had been that wise they would have never dropped him in the first place. But as of now, he is playing well and he bringing confidence back in the team. The way he used to do it while he was leading the team! But I was also impressed by Dravid's scoring rate. I think he also did a great job. Let him keep his stake at captaincy. I don't think captaincy is a bigger issue here. Ganguly is back in the team and is raring to go. This should make his fans like us to be happy about him. He has already silenced all his opposition. Don't be so over confident becuase Indian player have lot of weakness, such fiedling, catching and batting you have seen last series what was the condition of our team. And another is that India players always play in india well but when you are out of India all player get down. We can WIN THE WORLD CUP For this we need comitment and unity in the TEAM

Ya Definetly , Ganguly has best records ever than any captian before 2 years, his comeback is really helped the team to get great confidence as an expericenced captain is there and he can make the boys to get World CUP better than Dravid. _______
