What could the world be without Microsoft?

As we all know, we cannot use our computer without any Operating System right.

Ask apple they will tell...Microsoft become popular and come into existence by pirating apple's software .... so without apple it would be Apple's World

World would have become very soft. If microsoft is not there, something else would have come. There is no such thing as indespensible.

Windows is not the only operating system in this world. There are much better OS than Windows. If Microsoft didn't ever exist then it would open the way for many quality OS thats around. It have been years since i used Windows.

It will be others operating systems like we have many of them presented today. Unix and Mac OS . As we already know Microsoft produced DOS in early 80's, the new OS what would be easier to end user. so they made a virtualy drives A:, C:, etc, what's a bit wrong. Also Unix exist from 70's . XP brings facilities from Unix OS. Also Vista will contain these things.
