These two words are very sweet and intoxicating. No wonder people want to hold unto political power even when they are no longer productive in that position of authority. Why will a person hold unto power at the disinterest of his subjects. It is happening all around the world' Why do we give power to the wrong people? Can't the electorate be more enlightened in this electoral prosedures?

The way I see the power of the Governments is that most get in on a single policy, they go for a popular stance on something and get voted in on that, they have to make lots more decisions and they may not be popular with the people of that country...I fee the people of countries shouls be allowed to vote for the policies as well as the candidate...but humans being humans I think power can become an ego thing as well...
