I don't know about everyone here, but I don't like having to pay to do my taxes. There are so many tax sites that offer low fees but why should you even have to pay that. I learned a few years ago that the IRS gives out a list of tax sites that offer to do your taxes for free including a free efile. It has saved us a lot of money doing it that way. All you have to do is go to the IRS's website and it will tell you where to go to the list of sites. It's mostly for people that make a certain amount that following year. Or if you live in certain states, which might include a free filing for state taxes including the efile. I'm not trying spam or anything. I just think other people should know about this. If you already know about this, that's great. But for the ones that don't. Try it out and see, and if it works for you. Pass it on to other people so they can save money and get your refunds faster.

Well, you are righ chertsy, these companies that do taxes for you are really getting out of proportion, and high with their rates! I mean they are ridiculous! You mean this site you are talking about is cheaper than taxcut, and turbo-tax online e-filing? I've got to check it out!

If you go through the IRS website to the list of sites that offer to do your taxes for free and including e-file for people that qualify. I used Turbo-tax one year. I just go to different ones each year. They have a huge list, and the IRS gives out the site list around the middle of January unless they decide to change it next year. Just remember to put www.IRS.gov in your favorites. This made my third time going through the IRS site to save money. I mean why pay a tax site or go out and buy the software to do taxes when you can do them for free.
