How many of you like the Sound of Music?

It's one of my favorite musicals of all time. It's just amazing. It never ceases to amaze me. It's a wonderful story and the music is just so brilliant. Rodgers and Hammerstein are just complete geniuses. How many of you like this movie? What's your favorite part about it? Your favorite song?

It's an all-time movie I guess. The first time watching it I liked it because of Maria character there. But then I got to read the book, the real story of the Trupp family, that's when I got to see the family life element that really got me =D

I like the beginning with the children learning to sing and all, but once the whole Nazi situation takes over the plot, I don't enjoy it as much. I like the lighthearted portion better. I do also love Rodgers and Hammerstein.

Don't shoot me... I HATE that movie! LOL It was the most annoying thing on earth and I think her voice is just grating! LOL

my older sister loved that movie when we were young and i think it is still one of her old time favorites... but i remember when i was a child, she usually played and played that movie... it got into me, and at that time i remembered all the songs.. i could even sing it in my sleep... then a couple of years ago, i tried watching that movie again... i'm sorry to say that i don't like it now. i just realize that my sister just brainwash me to like it... although i love the part when the children were learning how to sing... but that's it...
