Well, my mother passed away a few years ago, so I don't have that close of a relationship with her now.
However, when she was here, we had a very close relationship. It wasn't always that way. I believe it happened when I moved it, when I was able to appreciate my mother in a different light. At 16-17 years old and having a mother hound over you about what I felt was the smallest things in life, it doesn't do wonders on a bonding relationship.
Once I moved out and was able to breathe, I realized that my relationship with my mother was very valuable to me. We got even closer when I had my daughter in 2000.

Yes my mother was my friend we could always sit down and have a good talk to one and other and that way understand each other more I do believ that with anyone that if you discuss what is going on that you have a better chance of making your relationship work better.

My mom is my best friend! We are very close to the point that people sometimes think we're just sisters. We sometimes treat each other like sisters, but not losing the respect a mother should be getting from a daughter. I love my mom so much, she's always there to give advice, to take my side and support me when things go wrong, to help me in decision making, etc., basically, everything. Don't know what I'd do without her.
