You can not stop them if it is not bad enough to have them commited or put in jail. Of course, if someone spits too much hatred, they may run afoul of libel laws and get sued.
Barring any of all that, I recommend ignoring and staying away from this person. From afar, you might conteract some of the hatred. By this I mean when ever you here some of her hatred being repeated by others, set the story right.
Good luck with all this. I do not envy the task ahead of you.

u think she will even listen to what i have to say. u see people will so much anger generally shut themselves off from what others hve to say or do. here in india if we were to send such people behind bars then india will have many millions of its population in jail

"I recommend ignoring and staying away from this person."
The quote above is from my orginal response. Do this and it will not matter that she won't listen. The people I recommend you talk to are those who have listened to the hateful person. Just tell them of the hateful person's lies.
True, you can not put every hateful liar in jail. That is, until they make a hateful false criminal accusation. This is what I was refering to in addition to the fact that a hateful liar can easily run afoul of libel laws.

thx for the good advice. i think tolerance does change things because a person might feel guilty at times when she sees us tolerant to facts tht she was hateful. slowly she might become less severe if not completely uncurable.

There is absolutely nothing you can do for this person. She is obviously full of self hate and it is spilling out to those around her. The only thing you can do is to tell her that you do not approve of her behavior and if it continues you will have to end your friendship with her. maybe she will see that she is being wrong and make some changes. But honesty is key to a ny friendship and this lady needs help! But if she refuses help then you can't keep putting up with that behavior!

yes such people really do need help. they also must be ready to address their problem, first they should realise they have a problem.

This is very true, it is very difficult for someone to realize there is a problem and then to admit to it!
