Is it hard to put a utube on a blog?

Hi, everyone!
I have heard so much about utube, & how popular it is, & I'd like to get involved, but I just don't know how!
I finally got into the blog thing & it's fun, but how would I put a utube video on it?
Also, to do it, would I have to take the video? Someone the other day (it made no sense, though) said 'you can do a utube -- you don't even have to take you own pictures' -- but how could that be true!? They said something about doing a slide?

It's really easy. When you have found the video you like on youtube, open it. When you are in the page where the video is shown, at right there is written "embed" and a square with some html code. Copy this code and paste it on your post (write the post with the option "edit html"). And so the video will be shown on your blog page.

Thank you! One other Q...I am on blogspot, which they say has a new beta something...(I don't understand it, but I'm using it. lol) ANYWAY, how would I do it using that - - it will say it cannot accept html.

I just made a new blog for my kids and embeded some of their favorite videos there. I didn't want them surfing YouTube since I've seen some not so kid friendly things there. I just copied and pasted the embed line to the right of the video into the blog and it accepted it. Was super easy. Their blog is in the new Beta version. Hope this helps!

is very easy to put utube videos on your blog. You have a script. You put this script in you'r site. and you have video in you'r site. Is very simple.

Haha. Glad I found this, because i was about to ask the same question. I want to make commericials for my blog http://www.fromnothingtosixzeros.com And then put them on you tube and then also post them to my blog! Thanks!

I wish you luck to put the youtube on your blog. I've seen losangelet already replied to your discussion on how to put it. There is also mysharedspace.com that gives you online video similar to the youtube, if you'd like to see.
It's not really that hard to put the code or the script to displayed the video on a blog. It's almost like a copy paste thing.
