why everybody wants a big weeding?

Couldn't be agree with you here! I think the beginning of a marriage should not be celebrated by spending much on big party. The celebration be best celebrated in anniversaries! Besides, I want to spend with people who are rejoicing over my marriage and have genuine care and support to make my marriage works.

I like the way you think! It will definitely be cheaper to have a small intimate wedding. Many brides feel unhappy the day after their wedding because they spent so much time, effort and money for something that only lasts a few hours.
