senior citizens

Do you think its proper to send our old age parents to senior citizen homes while forgeting conveniently what they have sacrificed for us during their life time? Is it right morally?

I think the only reason to send the elderly to a senior citizen home is when they are very sick and the home has nurses and aides that can help them.
