Why?

I think that a dog is a good company and when you have a dog with you you can watch Tv,you can do more stuff ,more than you can do If a lion or a panther would be with you;)You can't eat popcorn or sleep with an lion or panther,because these are very wild,maybe If these would grew up in your house.

The dog is less likely to try and eat you in your sleep.

Probably has something to do with the fact that a dog is a domesticated animal and lions/panthers etc are wild with many attempts at domesticating them failed.

one reason is that lions and panthers are wild animals and they may cause harm to human beings some day . the other reason is dogs are more loyal than any other animal. the loyalty a dog shows is really really amazing and heart touching.

I like lions and panthers but I can't live with one in my home because they are wild animals and could kill you.
